Special projects
Shipyard IDP also handles projects requiring a high technical expertise and follow-up, beyond the usual definition of "ship repair" or "ship building".
These one-off projects require innovation, solution-oriented thinking and expertise, high flexibility, excellent communication.
In 2003-2004, we participated in the construction of the unique floating swimming pool "Josephine Baker", for the town of Paris.
In the winter-period 2008-2009, Shipyard IDP overhauled the masts and rigging of the Belgian School School Schip SSV MERCATOR (www.zeilschip-mercator.be).
Regularly, our expertise is requested for special-purpose pontoons and vessels.
